Overview:

Join us for a day on the land at Montreal Lake, connecting with Mother Earth.  Get ready for a winter day outside experiencing learning from the land including net fishing, fishing pole making, species identification, fire teachings and stories.  For those who would like to carpool, we will depart from the education centre at 7:30am.  If you wish to drive on your own, please arrive at Montral Lake Cree Nation at 9:00am near the school.  Please bring water and a bagged lunch, as we will be outside all day, snacks will be provided.  We will finish the day at 2:00pm to allow for travel time home.
