The Government of Saskatchewan has recently released a report examining the provincial education system and outlining four options for changing its governance structure in the future. The government is gathering feedback from the public on the report and the four options. Our school division is encouraging all parents, staff members and community members to submit their thoughts to the provincial government. The deadline for submissions is January 23, 2017. Please note all submissions will be made public on the government’s website following the deadline.
Our division is also encouraging parents, staff and community members to contact their MLA to share their views about the Perrins Report and the proposed options for changing governance of education in the province.
