Recently the Deputy Minister of Education and several Ministry senior staff visited Saskatchewan Rivers Public School division for a conversation and information sharing session. The afternoon was filled with open and productive conversation on a wide range of topics including First Nation, Metis and Inuit Education, Early Learning and Literacy initiatives, meeting students’ intensive needs, budget pressures and many other topics as well. The SRPSD Senior Admin, Board Chair Barry Hollick and Vice-Chair Jaimie Smith-Windsor appreciated the time invested by the ministry to have those important in-person conversations. It was a great afternoon that helped both the Ministry and SRPSD in their efforts to continue to provide excellence for every learner.
