École Vickers staff hosted a Mother’s Day Weekend 2 Km Fun Run (or walk) on the Rotary Trail outside the school. First, the staff came and wrote inspirational messages to our students to let them know how much we miss them. Then, Vickers families came out over the weekend and participated in the run.
Having a “come and go” style run spanning over several days was the best way to follow all of the guidelines for social distancing. We encouraged our families to follow the City of Prince Albert guidelines for trail use by staying 2 meters apart at all times and to practice physical distancing by only walking alone or with one’s immediate family.
We miss our students so much and hope they had a blast on our 2 Km Fun Run!
