Purpose:
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the Below Zero guidebook and participate in highlighted activities from the book. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear and discuss connections to Indigenous history during the winter months and to interact with a dog sled team.
Learning Intentions: Participants will be exposed to examples of the activities within the Below Zero guide as well as information about sled dogs with a strong connection to curricular outcomes.
Success Criteria: Participants will leave with an understanding of how the Below Zero guide works and how to use it in their own school setting.
