Intended Audience:

Kindergarten-Grade 4 classroom teachers, LST, IEC and DC coaches

AM: Participants will have the opportunity to explore how the EPBL model can exist in math instruction and how to bring more math into their EPBL flex groupings.

PM: Participants will have the opportunity to explore the umbrella category of Games Play with specific examples for their grade and curriculum.

Learning Intentions:

AM:  Participants will have a better understanding of how the 5 umbrella categories can live in their math instruction.  They will be provided with many examples as well as time to play and explore themselves.

PM: Participants will be introduced to a wide variety of games that fit specific curricular outcomes for kindergarten-grade 4 classrooms.

Success Criteria:

AM: Participants will leave with ideas of how to incorporate a pedagogy of play into their math teaching practices.

PM: Participants will leave with ideas and clear examples of how to incorporate Games Play into their own classroom settings.
