Overview:
Story Workshop is a model that combines writer’s workshop with art, play and joy. It
encompasses all aspects of our SRPSD writing model and fits within the Small World and
Artistic Play components of our EPBL model. Come and explore how it can be used in your
classroom to increase both the structural and expressive components of writing. We will
also focus on the importance of oral language, how it is a crucial component of Story
Workshop and other ways that you can expand and grow the oral language in your
classroom. This will be a fun and interactive day.
