Overview:
v We will be learning about morphological awareness and the difference between phonemes, graphemes and morphemes v We will be introducing orthographic mapping as it connects and aligns to the scope and sequence of the Morpheme Magic lessons v We will be looking at how to use the Morpheme Magic lessons for whole class word work instruction and the importance it plays in building vocabulary and improving spelling v We will be going through each part of the lesson using student examples v Participants will receive a Morpheme Magic resource and many other recommended supporting documents and websites
