Students from Osborne Public School visited Muskoday First Nations School on September 30 to collaboratively learn about Orange Shirt Day. Classes from each school partnered up to hear from Elders about the impact of residential schools and to take part in cultural activities such as a round dance, and making drums and dreamcatchers. Staff from both schools planned the event in the spirit of reconciliation and it was encouraging to see so many friendships starting to form as the day went on.
